Great ring, way less thick than I thought, which is great for small hands like mine. Definitely doing its job keeping me from biting my nails or pulling my hairs, and it looks great too, what's not to love ? :)
It is very cool. I have a gear ring and a lot of fidget desk toys I mess around with, but this is the least intrusive to my job and very fidgetable.

I got one of the last rings in stock and boy am I glad. If you’re thinking the price is high, you’ll be pleasantly surprised because the workmanship and tolerances in the ring are fantastic. The click is very satisfying. If you wrench in cars and love the way your watcher clicks, this ring is for you! I just can’t wait until they re-stock some of the special colored ones.

It was by chance I found the advertisement for the Rachet Ring. The name was intriguing, I had to learn more.
I have been suffering from extreme anxiety resulting from years of abuse. Panic attacks were a normal for me and medication only helps to a certain point. I have tried different things through the years, only to be a waste of money and time.
I was hesitant due to the cost of one ring and fear it would be another waste of money and time. I eventually decided to give it a try.
I wasn't sure what to expect with the rachet sound, thinking it might be annoying. I actually find it soothing and comforting in a way. The spinning in conjunction with the rachet sound helps with concentration, has a calming affect and takes your mind off of things.
I would love to have one of each design but cost and time will tell. I would recommend the Rachet Ring to anyone looking for something that definitely helps with anxiety and isn't a gimmick.
On a side note, August- one of the co-founders, is absolutely hands on with any concerns or problems. For me, that makes a world of difference and a peace of mind.

So much better than expected. I was worried about ordering this - a lot of money to spend on something that “might” be cool. This definitely is though, high quality, worth the price. Had it a few weeks and really enjoying wearing it!
I've had the ring for maybe a month now and I got it for combating my nailbiting and it absolutely helps. Yes, it is quite expensive at first but I was so curious that I just wanted to try it out. You abolutely get what you pay for, good quality, good support. I went for this ring, because of its convenience and formfactor. Most other fidget toys are big, loud, or you need to carry them around. This just effordlessly lives on your hand, exactly at the place where you need it. I can effortlessly start turning the ring when I get nervous/stressed and want to bite my nails. I love the fact that its clicky but not that loud. I work at an office and when my collegue is in the room with me she doenst hear the clicking (exept when its dead silent). I saw a lot of comments about the ring only turning one way, for me thats absolutely no big deal, its easy to tell which side it should turn and ive never turned it the wrong way, and when you want to turn it the other way just simply put it on the other way. Customer service is a 10/10 as well! i ordered the wrong size and emailed them if it was possible to switch to the right size, and they replied almost immediately and switched it to the right size.
I love this ring! I have matte black and it looks elegant and compact. No one could tell there is a ratcheting mechanism in there. It is very smooth and satisfying. Don’t take my word for it, order one and see. Currently, mine is on its way to get exchanged for a different size. Can’t wait to get it back! Getting the size right has been my only situation with this ring and I was fully expecting it to not be a perfect fit first go around.
Extremely high quality materials, and it clicks exactly as expected. I've so far been able to quit biting my nails, which has been a challenging lifelong battle! I'm happily surprised how much the ring has helped, and now my hands don't hurt or bleed anymore from being picked at. Funny how simple of a solution this turned out to be! Highly recommend as an outlet for anxious energy.

“Handschmeichler” is a German word which describes a very smooth item, like a round washed stone, a very even and unruffled piece of wood, or glossy jewelry without any edges. Closest translation into English would be hand flatterer, hand charmer, hand pleaser, or: worry stone. Very well built, extremely smooth touch and clicking. And because of that it is very satisfying and soothing.
So happy I pulled the trigger and it arrived very fast in 2 days.
But it might have been a “bad idea”, because I’m thinking already of getting another one… 😉
I love this ring. It has helped me to stop biting my nails, I don’t pick or chew, I ratchet!
I also love that it’s discrete. When I’m in meetings I can slowly click it and no one’s any the wiser, much more professional than a fidget spinner or some stress ball or toy.
The quality is also excellent, it survived going through the washing machine no problem and it feels like it will last forever.
